Dealer Leonard Bus Sales Honored with Proclamation

The Saratoga County Board of Supervisors recently presented Leonard Bus Sales with an official proclamation for its 50 years of business, leadership and economic contributions to Saratoga County.

proclamation“It’s a tremendous honor for our entire team and a fantastic way for us to close out our year-long celebration of 50 years as a family-owned business,” said company Vice President Jon Leonard, who accepted the proclamation on behalf of Leonard Bus Sales. “We take our commitments to our local communities and all our school transportation partners very seriously, and we will continue to do so for the next 50 years. We are truly humbled and gratified by the recognition.”   

The proclamation reads in part:

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY

PROCLAIMED, that the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors hereby recognizes and congratulates Leonard Bus Sales, Incorporated on 50 years of providing a great service and continuing to be a leader in their industry; and be it further

PROCLAIMED, that the Board of Supervisors also wishes to lend its appreciation to Leonard Bus Sales, Incorporated for providing good jobs for its residents and for its ongoing contribution to the Saratoga County economy.

On hand to present the recognition was Board of Supervisors Chairman Matthew Veitch.

“The entire Board of Supervisors congratulates Leonard Bus Sales for reaching this tremendous milestone and wishes the company continued success in the future,” he said. “We’re thrilled to have them here in the community and truly appreciate their continued commitment and ongoing contributions to Saratoga County.”

The presentation took place on Dec. 21 at the Leonard Bus Sales customer support facility in Saratoga Springs.
