Scheuler Named VP of Sales, Marketing for Collins Bus Corporation

Collins Bus Corporation, the manufacturer of Type A school bus brands Collins Bus, Corbeil and Mid Bus, announced it promoted Matt Scheuler to the role of vice president of sales and marketing.

Scheuler has worked at Collins for the past 13 years, most recently as director of sales responsible for North American sales in the western region of the U.S. and Canada.

“It’s truly an honor to have been selected to lead our sales and marketing efforts at Collins Bus Corporation,” Scheuler said in a statement. “I’ve been around our company long enough to know that we have the personnel and products that will continue setting the industry standard for the future. Backed by the finest dealer network in North America, I would expect nothing less than continued success for the entire organization.”

Scheuler will report directly to Kent Tyler, president and CEO of Allied Specialty Vehicles’ Bus Division. Allied Specialty Vehicles is the parent company of Collins Bus Corporation.

“I’m thrilled to see Matt promoted to this leadership position within Collins Bus Corporation,” said Tyler, who previously worked with Scheuler as president of Collins Bus Corp. “Matt has been involved with our organization for over 13 years and held a variety of roles within the organization. Matt has proven himself to be a dedicated and resourceful member of the team and I’m confident he will provide the focus necessary to further our leadership position within the Type-A school bus market.”

Scheuler is a graduate of Wichita State University with a bachelors degree in computer science.
