Bus Driver Saves Choking Kid

An Oklahoma school bus driver is being hailed as a hero after coming to the aid of a choking student and using the Heimlich maneuver, reported the Daily Mail.

Video footage from inside the bus shows the driver getting out of her seat and assisting the boy after the boy’s sister screamed for help. Authorities reported that the boy accidently swallowed a penny.

“He was just red and gasping for air,” said the driver. “So I made sure the bus was secure went back and grabbed the student.”
