Arsenault Associates Names Boetefuer CEO

BURLINGTON, N.J. — Arsenault Associates today announced that Jack Boetefuer has been named as the company’s new CEO, effective immediately. At the same time, Arsenault Associates announced the retirement of previous CEO and industry icon Charles Arsenault. The move represents the completion of a long-term succession strategy for the maker of Dossier, the industry-leading fleet asset maintenance management software.

Boetefuer joined Arsenault in 2004 as vice president of sales and business development, and took over day-to-day operations in 2006 when he was named president in the first step of a planned transition. Arsenault’s retirement and Boetefuer’s succession to corporate leadership are the final steps in that plan which assures the company’s continued creativity, growth, and independence.

Boetefuer holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to joining Arsenault Associates, he worked for major providers of industrial automation including Rockwell Automation and Swiss/Swedish giant ABB. Boetefuer revised and fine-tuned Arsenault’s business model while assembling a world-class team of fleet management experts, marketing, development, sales and tech support staff to improve the company’s ability to support customers and aggressively grow the business.

“Charlie had incredible insight and vision when he founded Arsenault Associates in 1979 to provide management expertise and technology to a desperately underserved fleet maintenance sector,” said Boetefuer. “He put us and our customers on a path for mutual success going forward. It has been an honor and privilege working with him to grow and position the company for a successful future.”

“Stepping back is much easier when you can follow a well-planned path, and when you have a strong successor,” said Arsenault. “Looking back, I am extremely proud of everything that we have achieved; looking forward, the future is bright. The company has been greatly strengthened by Jack’s leadership over the last eight years. He has done an outstanding job of identifying and recruiting top notch people to help us get to the next level while establishing an even stronger culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and best in class customer focus and support. Arsenault Associates now provides the best-performing products backed by the strongest resources in our industry.” Arsenault will remain involved with the company as a management consultant, strategic advisor, and occasional spokesperson.

In 2011, Arsenault Associates was named to Inc. Magazine’s 30th annual Top 500/5000 list of America’s fastest growing companies. In the past three years successively, the company has also been recognized as one of the South Jersey 25 (fastest growing companies in South Jersey) and one of the Philly 100 (fastest growing companies in metropolitan Philadelphia).

“We will move forward by listening and responding to our customers as always,” Boetefuer said. “I will continue to identify and hire top notch talent to meet the needs of our growing customer base. Our growth path allows us to reinvest in development so we can enhance our Dossier software at an increasingly faster pace. We are on a course to continue to add more power, functionality, flexibility, and sophistication to solve real-world problems and ultimately improve our customers’ bottom lines, while maintaining the intuitiveness and ease of use for which Dossier is so well known.”
