Blue Bird Names Tighe Chief Financial Officer

Blue Bird announced that it added 30-year financial veteran Paul Tighe to its executive team.

Tighe previously was the executive director of business strategy for Ford Motor Company based out of Shanghai. His experience includes financial control and strategic planning both domestically as well as in South America, Asia and Europe.

“We are delighted to welcome Phil to the Blue Bird team,” said Phil Horlock, president and CEO of Blue Bird Corporation. “Phil brings a thorough knowledge of the Finance function and considerable experience in developing and executing business strategies with the Operations that drive profitable growth. His experience will be invaluable as we continue to grow our market share both domestically and internationally.”

Phil received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Melbourne and received his master’s degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia.
