Hickory Springs Restructures With New Business Model, Top Executives

In creating its new corporate structure, global manufacturer Hickory Springs appointed five executives to head its new business units and corporate sales division.

Four of the five executives will lead the company’s four new business units — bedding solutions, furniture solutions, transportation solutions and diversified solutions. This new business model comes after Hickory Springs in early January announced it acquired seating product provider The C.E. White Co. Company officials said combining both companies would enhance opportunities for both companies by leveraging the core capabilities of each provider.

Tony Everett, formerly president and CEO of C.E. White since 2006, was named vice president of transportation seating solutions. Tim Becker was named vice president of diversified solutions, and brings more than 15 years of experience with Hickory Springs to his new position. Todd Councilman, a 25-year veteran of the foam industry, was named vice president of bedding solutions. And Brad McNeely was named vice president furniture solutions. His career with Hickory Springs spans more than 23 years, and most recently served as vice president new product development.

Lastly, David Duncan was named vice president of corporate sales. He has 22 years of experience with Hickory Springs, and most recently served as vice president of the company’s western foam division. All executives will report to Lee Lunsford, executive vice president and COO.
