Julian Electric Named Thomas Built’s 2013 Supplier of the Year

Thomas Built Buses recently name Julian Electric its supplier of the year for 2013 at an annual supplier event this month in Greensboro, N.C., that focused on quality manufacturing.

The Westmont, Ill.-based company has been a Thomas Built supplier for more than seven years, and manufactures battery cables for the school bus manufacturer. It was rated the highest on engineering, quality, logistics, warranty and purchasing.

Parker Warren, purchasing manager of Thomas Built Buses, presented the 2013 Supplier of the Year award to John Julian, owner of Julian Electric. Meanwhile, Thomas Built named Truck-Lite, a global provider of visibility systems, most improved supplier. More than 147 representatives of Thomas Built’s 100 largest suppliers attended the event.
