Companies that are members of the NASDPTS Suppliers Council will have an opportunity to sell their products and services to state directors and other interested parties during the upcoming annual conference in Cincinnati.
The session “Focus on Supplier Council Members” was added to the agenda to highlight the benefits of membership. The council currently allows a voice in state and national policy discussions to representatives from more than 60 companies across the United States and Canada that would otherwise be ineligible to become members of NASDPTS at the state director. School Transportation News is one of the council members.
Max Christensen, president-elect of NASDPTS and the 2011 conference chair, said several sessions in Cincinnati will feature Supplier Council members, including panel discussions on seat belts and new technology, using transportation data for cost savings, OEM updates and driver training. The focus session on Oct. 24 will allow all members in attendance to provide a brief comments on their companies’ core competencies.
The NASDPTS conference begins Oct. 21 and concludes Oct. 24. More information on is available online.
