School Bus Driver Ignores Road Closure Sign, Captured on Video

A school bus driver drove into a low-water crossing in Texas, and the incident was captured on the dash cam, reported The Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

As viewed on the video, a Leander ISD bus driver drives past a road barricade, and after a short while, approaches a low water crossing. The driver then drives into the water and gets swept away by the current.

One student was on the bus at the time. Both the driver and the student were reportedly uninjured. The bus driver, Nathan Deyoung, was arrested after the incident.

According to the report, Leander Police released the video to show people how dangerous driving through low water crossings can be.
