First Student Offers Discounted Transportation Pricing for Jacksonville, Fla., Magnet Students

CINCINNATI — First Student will provide round-trip transportation service to Jacksonville magnet school families in the Northwest, Northside and Core City Areas, throughout the 2011 – 2012 school year. A discounted rate of $998 per student is available through Monday, Aug. 22. There is a 20 percent discount for multiple children and a family cap of $2,499.

“Having access to safe and reliable home-to-school transportation service is a crucial link for many families to ensure their students get to school on time,” said Shawn Albright, area general manager, First Student. “We encourage parents to sign up today to ensure their children are included in the magnet school transportation program.”

Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 23, service will be offered at the normal rate of $1025 per student, with a 20 percent discount for multiple children. The same family cap applies.
