LEWISTON, Maine — NorthEast Charter School Bus Services, Inc. announced that the company has been awarded the contract to provide transportation services for the Lincolnville School District. Based in Lewiston, NorthEast Charter & Tour has purchased five new buses, hired five additional drivers, and created a new division, NorthEast Charter School Bus Services, Inc. to service Lincolnville’s school system through the 2013 year contract.
NorthEast Charter & Tour has operated a charter bus service from their Lincolnville, Maine garage for the last four years. This new multiyear contract gives them the opportunity to continue providing coach service to the Mid Coast Maine area along with the same dependable transportation for the children of Lincolnville with school bus services.
As part of the new relationship, Northeast Charter School Bus Services Inc. will transport 180 children to and from their appropriate schools, covering a distance of 10 to 18 miles through Lincolnville.
