TAPT holds 2019 Speech Contest in Waco

WACO, Texas — The 2019 Speech Contest was held in Waco, Texas today at the Region 12 Education Service Center. There were 27 students from across the state who participated.

We would like to thank Region 12 ESC for hosting this event every year: our Co-Chairs Pam McCurdy and Pat Garcia who do such a wonderful job coordinating this event; and our judges, emcee and scorekeepers.

A big THANKS goes out to our very generous sponsors who make it possible for TAPT to sponsor this event:

  • Longhorn Bus Sales
  • Apex Wireless
  • Bucks Wheel

We were able to award $5,200 in scholarships today to some very deserving young people!
