ABBOTSFORD, B.C. — Gatekeeper Systems Inc announced today that Tri-City Communications of Barberton, Ohio has been awarded a contract to provide installation service and support to the Akron Public Schools school bus video system contract.

In an effort to increase safety on their school buses Akron Public Schools chose the NiTRO digital video system for its high resolution video capability, simultaneous multiple camera recording and easy to use MAXVIEW™ video management system which allows multiple users to share information across Local Area Networks saving the district hundreds of hours burning video to disk or coping tapes. NiTRO also provides a proprietary dual core thermal management system allowing the system to operate in extreme hot and cold temperatures.
