Safely transporting students with disabilities has long been one of the most difficult, litigious and often overlooked aspects of school transportation. This free webinar from Q’Straint/Sure-Lok shed more light on this topic.
The constant development of new wheelchair technology—which has resulted in a wider variety of wheelchairs on the market than ever before—combined with the reality that most wheelchairs are still not designed with transportation in mind, means that even the most fastidious transportation providers often find themselves encountering wheelchair securement conundrums. This recorded webinar, which can be watched below, provided a chance to have your most pressing securement questions answered.
Attendees submitted their questions when they registered for the July 31 webinar, and then joined Darren Reaume, national training manager for Q’Straint and Sure-Lok, and Chris Yarber, national accounts manager for Q’Straint and Sure-Lok, as they provided in-depth answers to 10 of the most pertinent wheelchair securement questions. Participants were also able to submit questions during the webinar.
