2013 Capitol Hill ‘Bus-In’ Scheduled for Late April

The National School Transportation Association announced that it will host its annual Spring “Bus-In” April 23 through 25 in Washington, D.C.

The program will include lobbying efforts before members of the 113th Congress on transportation-specific issues before lawmakers, especially those pertaining to the yellow school bus and school bus contractor companies.

Representatives of the National Association for Pupil Transportation and the National Association of State Directors of Pupil Transportation have also participated in the Bus-In in recent years, when the event was renamed from the annual “Fly-In” to better identify with the yellow bus.
