ASBC: SchoolBusFacts.com Exceeds 1,000 Web Visitors

The American School Bus Council announced public awareness website www.SchoolBusFacts.com has been visited more than 1,000 times since its relaunch last month.

In those 19 days, ASBC said the site has also recorded 2,500 unique page views. The 1,000 hits indicates the number of times any user has paid a visit. The site was designed in collaboration with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s “My Choice…Their Ride” campaign that ran last fall to inform parents and other taxpayers nationwide about the educational, environment and economic benefits of the yellow school bus.

“This is wonderful news for those of us committed to making students safer and more likely to succeed in school,” ASBC said in a statement. “As you know, ASBC and NHTSA have created a variety of informational resources on why parents should choose the school bus over other modes of transportation for their kids, and it is great to see that folks are getting information from www.SchoolBusFacts.com.

ASBC is asking the school bus industry to share the website in their respective communities. Visitors can download a media toolkit and use ASBC’s campaign resources to advocate for school bus ridership.
