Espar Brand Changed to Eberspaecher

Though the Espar logo still flew at the Transporting Students with Disabilities and Preschoolers Trade Show Monday, the idle reduction and HVAC technology company is now known as Eberspaecher, the name of its German parent.

The new name was officially unveiled at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky, ironically the location of TSD next March. Eberspaecher said in a statement that the rebranding is a “logical transition” based on user feedback and a “deep-rooted commitment to customer satisfaction.”

Eberspaecher added that the rebranding will enable improved global support and increased investment in research and development.

The website changed to www.eberspaecher-na.com. The name Espar, however, remains a legal business entity.
