Bill Schumacher was named the new vice president of Global Bus Marketing for Navistar, which includes oversight of the IC Bus brand. He replaces Kathy Seegebrecht, who was promoted to vice president of Navistar’s global marketing group for truck, engine and parts.
“We welcome Bill to the bus team and are confident that he will bring added value to the business,” said John McKinney, president of Navistar Global Bus.
Schumacher previously was vice president of marketing for Navistar’s RV group He came to Navistar from NAVTEQ, a Nokia company, where he oversaw North American and South American customer marketing. He began his career with Motorola, Inc. in marketing and business strategy.
Joining Schumacher is Kim Speciale, the new manager of marketing and communications for IC Bus. She came from the Navistar parts group and replaces Anne-Marie Cronin, who is now the director of marketing for Catholic schools in the Diocese of Joliet, Ill.
Seegebrecht and Cronin helped implement a new IC Bus marketing campaign earlier this year that focuses on customers.
