NSTA Partners with Zonar for $50,000 Grant Opportunity

The National School Transportation Association (NSTA) and Zonar Systems, Inc., announced the return  of jointly sponsored $50,000 grant opportunity to school bus contractor companies to contribute to the improved safety, effectiveness and efficiency of the pupil transportation program throughout North America.

NSTA added that the grant provides state of the art, best practice, and fleet management technology to a contractor providing transportation services to a school system.

Contractors must be a current NSTA member at the time the application is submitted. Applications will be considered that include matching funds to expand the program beyond the limit of this grant.

Applications are due by Dec. 13, 2013. NSTA said they must be submitted in printed and electronic format (Microsoft Word or PDF) to the National School Transportation Association via email to info@yellowbuses.org and mailed to: NSTA 122 South Royal Street, Alexandria, VA 22314.

Applications must include the NSTA membership number on the cover of the application.
