Automotive tire chain provider Onspot will have its 15 minutes of fame on cable TV as its product will be featured on the show Motorhead Garage. The show, which airs on the Fox Sports Network, demonstrates step-by-step installations of different aftermarket products for automotive enthusiasts.
The installation of Onspot’s automatic tire chain system is part of the show’s “Big Rig” series and will air on Nov. 6 and 7. The system will be installed on a truck by the Elizabethton Electric Department of Elizabethton, Tennessee. Pat Freyer, president of Onspot, says he was pleasantly surprised when show producers contacted him about using his company’s product. “This is our first TV appearance and it should be good,” he says.
Once the installation is complete, the Onspot system will remain on the Elizabethton Electric Department truck for good. Freyer decided to donate the set of chains to the company as Onspot tries to help out companies whenever it can.
