Girl Gets Stuck on School Bus Crossing Arm

A Connecticut girl escaped serious injury Friday after getting stuck on the crossing arm of a moving school bus, reported the Republican-American.

The school bus driver reportedly did not notice the child and drove for about 200 feet until a parent flagged him down. The girl saw the approaching bus, which was not on route to another elementary school, and mistakenly thought it was her own. Fearing she would miss the bus, she ran out of her house and into the bus’ path. According to police, the driver will not be cited because the primary cause of the incident was the girl running in front of the bus.

The incident is under investigation.
