Police Investigate Attempted Abduction of Two Children

Authorities are investigating an attempted abduction after two kids were approached by a man and a woman as they exited the school bus, reported ABC 6 News.

The man had a knife and apparently tried to separate the boy from the girl, and the woman started taking pictures of them. The kids screamed, and managed to get away. According to police, the children say they did not know the suspects.

The kids are a six-year-old boy and a seven-year-old girl.

“Obviously, it’s concerning to the police department, to the school, as it should be to parents. Does that mean you need to panic? I don’t think so,” said one police official.
