It is my sincere hope that our educational agenda will challenge you, and that our experts will engage you to be your very best for the at-risk students you transport every day.
Transporting students with disabilities and special needs, as well as preschoolers, are responsibilities that have never been more complicated. We’ve come a long way, and there are endless miles to go toward realizing total safety and service for our student passengers.
Please use the conference sessions, the roadeo experience hosted by our friends at Frisco ISD, and the trade show supported by over five dozen exhibitors to ask questions, share ideas, strategize and network. Just as it takes an army to raise a child, it takes an army to transport a child.
This week’s agenda addresses the hot topics of emotional disabilities, overcoming indecision, oversight of drivers and attendants, selecting equipment, Head Start transportation requirements, best practices versus guidelines, and crisis planning, just to name a few. We also connect you with the top legal, behavioral and bullying intervention specialists via our general session keynotes.
If you haven’t already, download the official TSD Conference app to access updated workshops and related course material, set your schedule, research speakers and vendors, and more. If you have any questions or need other assistance, please do not hesitate to contact staff in the hallway or at the conference registration desk.
Together, let’s make this week the best it can be!
