Bridgestone Americas Hiking Prices Feb. 1

Below is a Bridgestone Americas tire operations statement that was released about price increases that are scheduled for Firestone Truck and bus tires that are sold in the U.S. and Canada.

In response to increased business costs and other market dynamics, effective Feb. 1, 2019, Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO) and Bridgestone Canada, Inc. (BSCA) (collectively “Bridgestone”) will increase prices 4 percent on Firestone brand truck and bus radial tires sold in the U.S. and Canada.

All Firestone truck and bus tires shipped on or after Feb. 1, 2019, will reflect this increase. Members of the BATO and BSCA Commercial sales teams are contacting customers to provide more detailed information about the changes.
