WARRENVILLE, Ill – Durham School Services, a leader in student transportation, has been listed among the top 100 companies (LATINO 100) that provide the most opportunities for Latinos. The LATINO Magazine recognizes companies that benefit the Latino community in a variety of areas including philanthropy, diversity, hiring and programs that positively impact Latinos.
Durham supports the Latino community by investing in civic organizations, including the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO), which provides educational and training opportunities for Latino elected officials.
“Durham’s strong and consistent support of Latino civic organizations clearly demonstrates a strong commitment to community partnership and helps many in our community better execute their responsibilities,” said Alfredo J. Estrada, publisher of LATINO Magazine.
The LATINO 100, published annually, is a compilation of companies that have a clear outreach and media strategy to inform the Latino community of job opportunities and other community initiatives.
“We are proud to be recognized by LATINO Magazine for our commitment to partnering with and supporting the Latino community,” said David A. Duke, CEO of National Express, the parent company of Durham School Services. “Respect for people is one of our core values and this recognition is testimony to the success of our focus on people.”
