SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Transfinder, a leading provider of transportation management solutions for school districts, today announced significant growth for 2009. The Company added 174 new clients, a 12% growth over 2008.

The company has continued its steady double-digit revenue growth closing 2009 with $5,360,000 in revenues, an 18% increase over last year. Current staffing levels also increased to 48 employees, an 11% growth.

Highlights of 2009 include:

  • Maine Department of Education (MDOE) awarded Transfinder the state contract to provide a centralized student routing and transportation management system for its school districts;
  • The company unveiled a new website, signaling Transfinder’s intention to be the market leader for pupil transportation in the United States with plans to go global in the near future;
  • The company posted the highest annual growth in new clients representing a significant 12% growth rate. Today Transfinder serves more than 1,200 school districts across the country, delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation management and communications solutions for optimal transportation logistics.
