American School Bus Council Seeks New Marketing, Operations Coordinator

The American School Bus Council (ASBC) announced it is seeking applications for the organization’s open coordinator position that will support marketing and operations efforts as well as manage upcoming projects and campaigns.

The role became open earlier this year. The position was created in 2011 and filled by Clark Barrineau, who left ASBC earlier this year.

ASBC said applicants must have experience in the transportation or education industries, be familiar with social media, have excellent written and communication skills and act with minimal direction. The successful applicant will also oversee the budget in conjunction with NSTA, coordinate all ASBC communications and coordinate partnerships.

The individual would support ASBC members NAPT, NASDPTS, NSTA and IC Bus. Other council members on the board are Blue Bird Corporation and Thomas Built Buses.
