American School Bus Council to Exhibit at Lifesavers National Conference

Representatives of the American School Bus Council will be promoting the value of the yellow bus this week at the Lifesavers 30th National Conference on Highway Safety Priorities in Orlando, Fla.

ASBC will be handing out literature and other resources that were created last year in partnership with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. ASBC recently relaunched a companion website, SchoolBusFacts.com, that shares similar information on the education, environmental and economic benefits of school busing nationwide.

Started in the early 1980s, the Lifesavers Conference is dedicated to reducing the tragic toll of deaths and injuries on U.S. highways and roads.  Last year, the conference drew nearly 2,000 participants. The organization said it aims to provide a forum that “delivers relevant and timely common-sense solutions to today’s critical highway safety problems.”

ASBC can be found at booth number 424. The event runs from June 14 through 16.
