Western Canada Bus of Edmonton, Alberta won the 2014 Dealer of the Year award recently from IC Bus for demonstrating excellence in sales performance and industry and community leadership.
The award is the highest honor an IC Bus dealer can achieve.
“The Dealer of the Year award recognizes the effort and dedication of all the dealership’s employees, the commitment to growing their business and the recognition by customers as the dealership of choice in their market,” added Trish Reed, vice president and general manager at IC Bus.
Founded in 2007, Western Canada is also the top IC Bus dealer in the region and also recently won its second “Pursuit of Excellence” award for outstanding growth and customer service.
The company, which also sells Trans Tech Bus Type-A school buses in addition to a full line of IC Bus models, is also actively involved in supporting local community organizations dedicated to educating underprivileged children and adults on nutritional health issues and providing a means to access healthy foods.
Western Canada operates dozens of subsidiary locations throughout Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. It also has a location in the Northwest Territories. In addition to school buses, the company also sells General Coach, Federal Coach and Champion Bus.
