Dattco CEO Passes Away

Louis Anthony DeVivo, owner and CEO of DATTCO, Inc., died at home on Sunday with his family by his side.

DATTCO, Inc., began as a venture DeVivo formed with his brother, Edward, and Michael Tolomea, the first company named D & T Transportation. DeVivo considered all his employees at DATTCO, Inc. to be part of his family. He had been the president of the Connecticut Bus Association of a lasting member of the New England Bus Association. On top of his devotion to busing, DeVivo was also an active member of Sacred Heart Church and the Berlin Kiwanis Club.

DeVivo is survived by his wife, Irene, and son and daughter, Donald and Diana, as well as a number of extended family members.
