Trans Tech has awarded Leonard Bus Sales as the company’s 2015 Dealer of the Year Award. Winners of the award are judged on exceptional dealer performance in several key areas including dedication to customer support, overall sales and growth in market share.
“Receiving Trans Tech’s prestigious Dealer of the Year Award for a third straight year is a tremendous accomplishment for our entire company,” said Jon Leonard, vice president of Leonard Bus Sales.
Leonard Bus Sales is a family-owned company with operations throughout New York. Facilities can be found in Garden City Park, Saratoga Springs, Rome and Bergen, and corporate headquarters is located in Deposit.
“There are a lot of great Trans Tech dealers across the country, so winning this award is truly a testament to our talented team and our commitment to provide unmatched customer support to our school transportation partners,” said Leonard.
Trans Tech President John Phraner presented the 2015 Dealer of the Year Award to Frank Continetti, director of sales and marketing for Leonard Bus Sales, as well as and other members of the Leonard Bus Sales team during a ceremony held at the Trans Tech corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Warwick, New York, on March 11.
“Leonard Bus Sales’ commitment to providing industry-leading sales and support, tireless efforts to grow their Type-A school bus market share in New York, and their continued investment in the success of their customers, made them the clear choice,” said Phraner.
The Trans Tech president disclosed that although Leonard Bus Sales was the clear choice to win, this year was a tougher decision given the increase in the size of the dealer network and the number of dealers that have done a great job in expanding their respective markets.
According to Phraner, Trans Tech has expanded its market across the country by growing its dealer network and bringing customer-inspired innovation to its Type-A school buses.
