School Bus Contractor Krapf Companies Awards Educational Scholarships

The Krapf Bus Companies of West Chester, Pa., continued its 22-year tradition of offering an educational scholarship earlier this summer as it awarded graduating high-school seniors at each of the high schools in Pennsylvania and Virginia where the company provides student transportation.

In all Krapf donated nearly $25,000 to the 2013 recipients of the Krapf Educational Scholarship Award. Laura Ahern (above with Dale Krapf, the company’s owner and chairman of the board) of Downingtown High School West in Downingtown, Pa., was one of the recipients.

The bus company, established in 1942, is proudly celebrating the completion of its 70th school year. Krapf’s has been providing pupil transportation to the Downingtown Area School District continuously since it was founded.
