165 School Buses Infested with Cockroaches

A total of 165 school buses in Hernando County, Florida are being treated for bugs after drivers complained about infestations, reported WFTS

According to officials, at least 50 buses had cockroaches.

“Those kids are touching where those roaches were crawling, they’re putting their fingers in their mouth, they’re putting their fingers on their eyes,” said one parent.

A district spokesperson said the district is doubling up on their pest prevention efforts, doing preventative maintenance four times a year instead of the required two.
