Boy Arrested for Setting School Bus on Fire

An 11-year-old boy from Brooklyn has been arrested and is facing charges of arson and criminal mischief after allegedly setting a school bus on fire Sunday evening, reported CBS New York.

The bus was parked with the door open in the street next to the Bnos Chomesh Academy, an all-girls school.

Surveillance video reportedly shows a group of boys putting cardboard boxes inside the bus, possibly as kindling.

No one was inside the bus during the fire. Authorities are investigating the incident as a possible hate crime.
