Idaho School Bus Driver Fired After Pouring Water on Student

An Idaho school bus company fired one of its drivers after a cellphone video surfaced showing her pour water on a student and tell him to speak English to her as she confronted the boy about his onboard behavior.

KTVB reports that Jerome school bus driver Mary Black was terminated by the Northside Bus Company. Another student shot the video from several rows back on the bus. A family friend then posted the video on Facebook.

Black allegedly confronted the boy over a thrown water bottle. She accused the boy as being the culprit, which he denied. The student who shot the video, and who Black apparently also accused as being the one who encouraged the other student to throw the bottle, said it wasn’t the first incident where Black had acted similarly to the students on her bus.
