Man Steals Empty School Bus, Quickly Crashes

CBS Sacramento is reporting that over the weekend, a California man is behind bars after he allegedly stole a school bus and quickly crashed the vehicle.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department responded to Coachella Valley High School and found that one of the school buses had been stolen from a fenced parking lot and crashed into a set of classroom trailers.

The man was hospitalized for treatment of crash injuries and is currently  under investigation for vehicle theft, driving under the influence and vandalism.
