A 46-year-old former school bus driver was sentenced to 40 years in federal prison Monday after he pleaded guilty last September to sexual exploitation of a child and possessing and distributing child pornography, reports the Houston Chronicle.
Investigators found 140 videos and almost 400 images of child pornography on his cell phone along with 44 more images and more than 1,200 videos in emails. The images were of two minor female relatives and a close friend of one of the relatives. The victims were under 16 and one was only 5, federal officials said. They added that it does not appear Martinez’s previous job as a school bus driver had anything to do with his crimes.
