School Gets Perfect Score on Transportation Review

Cherokee County News-Advocate reported that parents recently got news regarding USD 508’s school bus safety.

Baxter Springs Superintendent David Pendergraft read a letter from the School Bus Safety Unit of the Kansas State Department of Education recognizing USD 508 for a perfect score on the recent 2015-2016 Transportation Safety Review.

Only 43 percent of Kansas School Districts achieved a perfect score. Superintendent Pendergraft commended David Weston for his hard work and dedication in making this possible.
