The first keynote presentation of STN EXPO Reno 2019 was held on Sunday, which was followed by a full day of workshops, with a welcome reception closing out the evening.

Jim Harris opened the day with his informative and compelling keynote presentation on changes facing the school bus industry, and how transportation professionals should respond, in order to avoid being left behind.

Attendees then learned from their peers and industry experts who led workshops on topics such as bus maintenance, implementing lap/shoulder seatbelts procedures, enhancing communication with transportation staff and the families they serve, changing bell times, and CBD oil use by bus drivers.

A fun and relaxing networking event sponsored by Tyler Technologies and SafeGuard ended the evening.
