The latest details on the 2015 STN EXPO Conference and Trade Show and inaugural Green Bus Summit are available in a special supplement that is posted on stnexpo.com and will be mailed with the upcoming May issue of School Transportation News magazine.
The supplement contains information such as registration deadlines and pre-conference workshops, but also on the Blue Bird-sponsored keynote presenter, Bobby Bowden, a retired, two-time national championship-winning college football coach and author. It also previews two pre-conference workshops, a four-hour general session on Sunday, July 26, and a list of scheduled speakers and workshop topics that cover four educational tracks: Special Needs & Head Start; Safety & Security; Maintenance & Technology; and Management & Operations.
The supplement also offers a schedule-at-a-glance and scheduled presentations for the inaugural, one-day Green Bus Summit, a symposium aimed at sharing vital information on where to find and obtain funds for alternative-fuels and clean energy.
The Summit takes place Wednesday, July 29, after the STN EXPO concludes on Tuesday, July 28. There is a separate registration cost to attend the Green Bus Summit — $49 with STN EXPO main conference registration and $199 for the Summit only. Hotel accommodations for both the STN EXPO and the Summit are available through the same hotel reservation system on the Hotel & Travel page.
Those interested in attending the Green Bus Summit — with or without the STN EXPO registration — must sign up through the same online registration system as for the STN EXPO. If attending both events, attendees would first sign up as an STN EXPO main conference, clicking on the “Main Conference Attendee” button, then would add the Green Bus Summit as an additional event during the registration process. If attending the Summit only, attendees would click on “Green Bus Summit Only” button at the beginning of the registration process.
