Winters Named Outstanding Rookie Director at Kentucky Transportation Conference

Crittenden County Schools Transportation Director Wayne Winters was recently named Outstanding Rookie Director at the Student Transportation Association of Kentucky’s (STAK) annual awards banquet that was held in July.

Each year, STAK honors exemplary service in different areas of transportation departments for the 173 districts across Kentucky. The Outstanding Rookie Director award is presented to directors who have one to five years of experience in the position.

Almost half of all transportation directors in Kentucky have that amount of experience, STAK leaders noted.
