AirKoi Mobile by Jackson Control

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – AirKoi Mobile air ionization is specially designed to implement widely used air ionization technology into transportation applications such as school buses, commercial buses, taxis, trains, ambulances, and personal vehicles. This technology, through independent testing and verification, has shown to significantly reduce airborne contaminants such as, pathogens, allergens, odors, VOCs, and particulate matter. Independent laboratory testing of needlepoint ionization devices has shown successful reduction of airborne pathogens up to 99.7%, with a 90% reduction of SARSCoV-2.By reducing airborne contaminants, the overall health and wellness of a vehicle and its occupants is greatly improved. AirKoi Mobile is highly efficient, cost-effective, and easy to install.

How it Works: Our ionization devices are mounted and installed within each existing air distribution fan within the transportation vehicle. Given proper and sufficient air circulation provided by the existing air distribution system in a vehicle, our solution will produce ample positive and negative ions to effectively reduce pathogens and other airborne contaminants while being harmless to occupants.

Ionization is the most efficient and economical solution to clean air: Easy installation with no modifications to existing fan equipment. Can be mounted directly in the existing air distribution system. Low voltage means bus maintenance personnel can install without assistance. Low maintenance, simply wipe the ionization brushes during regular maintenance or once per month using the included cleaning brush. Ions neutralize odors, allergens, bacteria, viruses, mold spores, and VOCs. 2-year warranty.

Technical Specifications and Application:

Installation Specifications-

The ionization devices are designed to be securely mounted within a transit vehicle. Each
ionization block can be mounted using either the included self-tapping screws or included
magnetic mounts. The Ionization devices are designed to be inaccessible to passengers and operators once installed. The ionization devices will power on and power off in conjunction with the powering of the buses existing air distribution units. Power Source: Each ionization block operates by way of a 12 VDC power source and can be powered from the existing air distribution units. Dimensions: The dimensions of each ionization block measure 3.25” x 1.94” x 2.38” and can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Safety: The ionization devices have been ETL certified ozone free – meeting UL 2998, UL 867 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No 187 standards.
