Cook-Illinois Corporation Relaunches Website

School bus contractor Cook-Illinois Corporation, the largest student transportation company with 14 affiliates serving the Chicago area and one of the largest in the nation, redesigned its website to focus on its core business segments.

In addition to enhanced usability, the new site features a breakdown of the company’s divisions, including the Go-Ahead North America partnership with UK-based Go Ahead Group. The companies operate school bus contracts in the St. Louis area. Cook-Illinois also features information on its core special needs transportation services. More than half of the 2,200 school buses the company operates in Chicagoland are for special needs routes. Cook-Illinois also provides transportation for local Head Start agencies, summer camps and park districts.

The site also features information on the company’s green initiatives, including the Clean Air Club and the Clean Air Club Bus, online resources to teach students about keeping their environment clean and a mobile and a hands-on museum that travels to schools around the area.
