The National Association of State Directors of Pupil Transportation Services is offering a new mobile app to attendees of its Annual Conference in Columbus, Ohio, Nov 4-8.
The free app is available for Android or iOS smartphones or tablets by searching for “Yapp” in the Google Play or App stores. It provides the schedule for each day with locations and summaries of events and sessions as well as any handouts.
Users can add events to their schedule as well as share messages or photos to other app users.
NASDPTS attendees can also attend special joint sessions at the National Association for Pupil Transportation Summit, including a special session “Innovation in Action” on driver-assistive technologies produced in conjunction with Thomas Built Buses and a motivational keynote by business technology futurist and “big data” expert Jack Shaw, both scheduled for the afternoon of Nov. 5.
Other joint sessions with NAPT include the “New Ideas Exchange” networking opportunity for conference attendees and exhibitors following the NAPT Trade Show in November.
