Autistic Student Falls Out of School Bus in Florida, Teacher Charged

On April 30, a school bus security camera captured a video of a child throwing shoes at another student, a teacher pulling the child down the center aisle and screaming, reported Spectrum News 13.

An elementary school teacher for Lockmar Elementary School in Palm Bay, Florida is facing child abuse charges after the student fell down the school bus stairs and onto the payment.

The teacher reportedly yanked the student’s arm, and that’s when the boy supposedly fell down the stairs to the ground.

Teacher Margaret O’Connor, 54, was arrested and booked into jail on Friday. According to the report, the teacher said that she and the child fell and that the child was unhurt.
