Man Claims School Bus Dragged Him

A Massachusetts school bus driver has been placed on administrative leave after allegedly dragging a father who was holding on to the bus mirror when the driver hit the gas, reported FOX 25

The man, James Burdett, said that he was waiting for his daughter at her bus stop.

“I physically got in the front of the bus and said, ‘Please give me my daughter, I need to take her home.’ He then pressed on the gas. I then grabbed onto the mirror. I was holding on for dear life,” Burdett said.

A video shows the man being dragged while neighbors yell at the driver telling him to stop.

The driver has reportedly worked in that role at Boston Public Schools for the last 10 years.
