MV Transportation Subsidiary Seeks End to Contract

While only partnering with a Savannah-area school district for less than a year, Reliant Transportation, a subsidiary of transit company MV Transportation, has requested an end to its term, according to WJCL-22.

The school bus contractor announced its intent last month. Since, the school system has voiced its desire to move to a district-run pupil transportation model. Reliant said it will assist the district during the transition period, with the current contract set to expire in May 20, 2016.
