A school bus was transporting students from James Singleton Charter School in New Orleans when it overturned on Interstate 10, reported WDSU News.
The cause of the crash is unknown. However, transportation was provided by Hammond’s Transportation and the bus in the incident had reportedly not passed inspection.
Nine students were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition at this writing, with two already released. The incident remains under investigation.
