Teen Struck, Killed, While Walking to Bus Stop

A Florida teen died Monday after he was hit by a car while crossing the street in an attempt to get to his school bus stop, reported ABC News.

According to reports, 17-year-old Kalen Kirk was on his way to catch his school bus when he was struck by a vehicle. It was early in the morning and still dark out. Kalen was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

Ironically, the driver is a crossing guard manager. There is reportedly no indication that she was impaired or distracted while driving.
