6-Year-Old Wyoming Student Dies After Being Injured by School Bus

A 6-year-old elementary student who attended Coffeen Elementary School in Wyoming, has passed away after being hit by a school bus last week, reported K2 radio.

On April 22, the student was trying to catch her school bus and was running after the vehicle, when she was pulled beneath the bus.

The student was flown to a hospital in Colorado and placed in a medically-induced coma, but reportedly succumbed to her injuries a week later.

School district officials announced that guidance counselors will be available for all students and the transportation department, if they may need extra help, the report said.
